This Privacy Policy explains how Whisperly ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our software, website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• •Account information — your email address and authentication details when you create an account.
• •Session audio and transcripts — when you start a session, the Service captures meeting audio to generate real-time transcription and suggestions. Transcripts are processed to provide the Service.
• •Screen context — when you invoke screen-aware features, the Service captures the visible content of your screen to generate an answer. Captures are used only to fulfill that request.
• •Usage data — feature usage, session duration, and minutes consumed, used for billing and improving the Service.
• •Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We never store your full card details.
• •Device information — operating system, app version, and basic diagnostics to keep the Service working.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate the Service (including real-time transcription and AI-generated suggestions), to meter usage and process billing, to provide support, to secure the Service against abuse, and to improve reliability and quality. We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI Processing and Subprocessors

To generate transcriptions and suggestions, session audio and screen captures are processed by third-party AI providers acting as our subprocessors. These providers process your data solely to deliver the Service and are bound by their own confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We do not permit subprocessors to use your session content to train their models where an opt-out is available to us.

5. Data Retention

Session transcripts and assist history are retained so you can review past sessions, and you can delete them at any time from within the app. Account data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).

6. Sharing of Information

We share information only with: (a) subprocessors that help us deliver the Service (AI providers, hosting, payments, analytics); (b) authorities when required by law; and (c) a successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition. We never sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we work hard to protect your information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date below and, where changes are material, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
